Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists assist children and their caregivers to build skills that enable them to participate in normal growth and development, feeding, play, social skills, feeding and education. We offer comprehensive, customized, expert programs right in your home – where your child is most comfortable and can benefit most fully.

Areas of expertise

  • Fine motor delay
  • Sensory integration
  • Feeding and oral motor control
  • ADLs (sleeping, dressing, toileting, feeding)
  • Self regulation
  • Vision
  • Behavior
  • Cognition

Approach

We typically begin by performing an evaluation using a variety of assessment tools. Then we create therapy plans and goals, regularly assess them, and provide clear documentation to parents along the way. We recommend home exercises to enable continued progress in between visits. We also consult and collaborate with other team members, including primary care providers, specialists, other therapists and educators.

Therapist credentials

Our occupational therapists are graduates from an AOTA accredited school and have current CA licenses from the CA Board of OT. They are CPR and First Aid Certified.
